- Competed nationally and internationally in track and field, martial arts and natural bodybuilding

- Holds the rank of second-degree black belt from the World Seido Karate Organization
- Began his study of kodokan judo at age 42 and earned his Shodan 1st degree black belt belt at age 45. Currently holds the rank of Sandan 3rd degree black belt. Holds 3 veterans National titles. Bronze medalist World veterans Judo championships 2018. #1Ranked veterans athlete USA Judo 2017,2 018, 2021.
